Terms of Booking | Nagarahole National Park & Tiger Reserve

These Terms of Booking govern all reservations made through NagaraholeSafari.com (Indian Wildlife Travels). By submitting a booking request or purchasing safari permits through our website, you agree to abide by the rules of the Karnataka Forest Department and the Wildlife Protection Act, 1972.

1. Safari Booking & Permit Allocations

All safaris into Nagarahole National Park are subject to availability and allocation quotas controlled by the Karnataka Forest Department.
Safari permits (Jeep, Bus, or Boat) are non-transferable and can only be used by the individual whose name and ID details are registered at the time of booking.
Specific safari zones or vehicle numbers cannot be guaranteed in advance as forest authorities assign zones at the gate prior to entry.

2. Identification & Check-In Requirements

Every visitor (Indian national or foreign citizen) must carry the original photo identity card specified during booking for verification at the safari gate.
Failure to produce original identity documents or mismatch in details will result in cancellation of entry without refund.
Visitors must report to the safari boarding point at least 30 minutes prior to the scheduled departure time.

3. Cancellation & Refund Policy

Forest department permit fees once issued are non-refundable and non-adjustable as per government norms. Service and handling charges follow the criteria below:

Time Period Before Safari Date	Applicable Refund / Deduction
30 days or more prior to travel date	75% refund of service charge
15 to 29 days prior to travel date	50% refund of service charge
Less than 15 days or No Show	No refund (100% deduction)

4. Weather, Forest Closures & Force Majeure

Safaris may be suspended or modified without prior notice due to heavy rainfall, forest fires, VIP movement, or safety orders from the Forest Department. In such unpreventable circumstances, Indian Wildlife Travels shall not be held liable for compensatory damages beyond applicable government refund policies.

5. Visitor Conduct & Forest Laws

All visitors must comply with park safety regulations. Smoking, consumption of alcohol, littering, carrying firearms, or teasing wildlife are strictly prohibited and liable to heavy prosecution under Indian Wildlife Conservation Laws.
